Boston Fall Retreat 2008

Speaker: Curt Harlow
Curt Harlow has served in campus ministry for more than twenty years. After graduating as an Art Major (Central Washington University), he was called to use his creativity in California as a campus pastor. Since then, he has served in Chi Alpha’s National Office and has returned to California to serve as West Coast Director for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries.
Curt is a seasoned and much in demand retreat speaker who tends to make his points with humor, sensitivity, and an encyclopedic knowledge of popular culture.

1. Fill out and give your retreat registration to a class officer or staff member. You can download the registration form here.
2. The retreat costs $99.00, which is a great price for two nights, but we have an even better deal. Boston University activities funds have been made available and the price for BU students will be lower. We will know by just how much soon. We encourage you to pre register at a non-refundable cost of $30.00 to save your spot now, and we will let you know what the remaining amount will be later. If cost is a concern, please contact us.
Note: The cost is $99.00 for children ages 12 and above, and $75.00 for those ages 6-11. Children below the age of six are free.

Conference check-in: begins at 8:00 PM of Friday, October 31, 2008, and the first session begins at 9:30 PM. The retreat will end with lunch at 12:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2008. Departures are scheduled to take place at 2:00 pm.
What to Bring
The BU Sargent Center supplies a bed to sleep in, so you need to bring your own bedding (or sleeping bag) and pillow, along with towel, washcloth, soap, and toiletries. Meals are buffet-style with vegetarian and meat (or poultry and fish) options, salads at lunch and dinner, as well as soup.
You will need a Bible, paper, and pen for the sessions.
In addition, you will need a heart open to God's work in your life.
